Video: Bulldog Bash May Be Back Downtown
STARKVILLE (WCBI) -A compromise could be in the works over where the popular Bulldog Bash will be held.
The MSU Student Affairs association was considering moving the annual concert which kicks off the start of the MSU football season to an on campus location. Starkville City officials tell WCBI that group filed for a permit to keep the festival in the Cotton District. The permit would put the main stage at the corner of Nash and University. That is near properties owned by Curt Crissey who offered up his space to keep the Bash in the city. The potential move was considered because of concerns the rapid growth of the Cotton District would restrict the space the Bash could use. Starkville Alderman are slated to decide on the permit August Second.
