Deputies Make Arrest in Home Break-Ins

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Tishomingo County deputies have a man behind bars, accused of breaking into two homes.

The burglaries happened early Monday morning near Iuka.

One homeowner gave deputies a description of the intruder who broke into her house on County Road 241.

Deputies say they later spotted Joshua Craig Ryan closeby, who matched the description.

Investigators say Ryan was near a home on County Road 989, and had stolen items from there on him.

Firefighters also responded to a blaze at that same house a short time later, which caused severe damage.

Ryan is being charged with burglary of a dwelling, failure to comply, and resisting arrest.

Ryan is being held in the Tishomingo County jail, and could face more charges.
