Alabama Educator Disappears

kelcey haleFAYETTE COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A teacher’s aide in Fayette County, Alabama is missing.

Family, friends and the Tuscaloosa Sheriff’s Office are searching for 44-year-old Kelcey Hale.

Hale is a 10-year veteran with the Fayette County school system, but he didn’t show up for work last week.

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office confirms to WCBI that Hale was last seen Sunday at his Gooden Drive residence in Tuscaloosa County.

He may be driving a silver 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Classic 4 door bearing an Alabama God Bless America Tag .

Hale is described as being 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. According to published reports, he serves as a pastor at churches in Fayette and Lamar counties.
