Amory Latest City To See Clown Hoax

AMORY ( WCBI) –  Amory Police are the latest to shoot down claims of clowns running around town.  Pictures racing around social media show a clown supposedly near  Walgreens.   Here is the picture which people are claiming was  taken in Amory.

The only problem. This same picture was also taken 3 years ago halfway around the world and appeared in a London newspaper.

Amory Police say several people spotted the fake photo and notified the department the image was a hoax.
