Court Rejects Monroe Man’s Rehearing Request

JACKSON (WCBI) – The state court of appeals says it will not revisit its February ruling which kept a Monroe County man in prison on murder charges.

The court Tuesday said it would not rehear David Parvin’s appeal of a 2014 murder conviction. The court in February rejected Parvin’s appeal in the shooting death of his wife Joyce back in 2007. Parvin had argued the evidence in the case did not support his conviction and life sentence. The court also said jury instructions in the case were proper.
