The Superintendent Search Is On

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Search time begins for a new superintendent for the Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District.

Current Superintendent Lewis Holloway announced last week that he was retiring this upcoming July.

Holloway’s announcement means the school board will be hiring someone to replace him.

That’s why a special board meeting was called Thursday night to discuss the search.

Three different superintendent search firms came to the meeting to present their proposals.

Those groups are Ray and Associates, Mcpherson Jacobson Executive Recruitment & Development, and the Mississippi School Boards Association.
