Tuesday Night Wreck Kills One

WINSTON COUNTY (MHP RELEASE) – MHP responded to a one vehicle fatal crash Tuesday evening around 6:10 PM on MS HWY 490 near the Noxubee Co. line.

A 2005 blue Ford Expedition driven by 31 year old Jessica Daniel of Louisville was traveling west when it left and re-entered the highway and rolled over. A front seat female passenger, 10 year old Railee Daniel was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Noxubee Co. Coroner.

There were 3 passengers in the back seat: a 11 year old male, a 8 year old male and a one year old male. All were transported to the Winston Medical Center along with the driver with non life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP.
