Shumpert Family Answers City Motion For Information

ABERDEEN (WCBI) – Attorneys for the family of Ronnie Shumpert say the city and others they are suing will get their pre trial discovery in plenty of time.

Attorneys for  the  City of Tupelo,  Mayor Jason Shelton and the Police  Chief filed a motion last month claiming Peggy Shumpert and Charles Foster deliberately provided vague answers to specific pre trial questions.  Court motions filed today by Shumpert attorneys deny that saying they are following federal guidelines and will provide specific expert testimony and will supplement their answers in plenty of time for the defendants to prepare their defense.
