Second Plea In Judge Kidnapping Case

TUPELO (WCBI) – A second man charged with plotting to kidnap Circuit Judge Paul Funderburk faces a possible prison term.
William Randolph says he is guilty of conspiracy to commit kidnapping after he and two other men were overheard plotting the kidnapping in March 2016.

He will be sentenced in the case Monday. Matthew Fowler pled guilty last month and was swentneced to 10 years with 5 suspended. The 3rd defendant Thomas Waddell is scheduled to enter a plea Tuesday.
