Two Captured Following Tupelo Pursuit

TUPELO (WCBI) – Two people are in custody following a short pursuit in Tupelo.   The chase started near  Crosstown when officers spotted a suspected stolen car.

They chased the car until it wrecked near Robert E. Lee and Rankin Extended.  One person was takein into custody at the wreck scene while a second fled on foot   Officers and K-9 units are currently searched the area for about 30 minutes before locating the second person about 2:30.   No names are being released at this time
