Woman Charged With Bringing Drugs Into Jail
WEBSTER COUNTY (WCBI) – A trespassing call winds up with a felony arrest of a Webster County woman. Deputies answered the call on Calabrella Road Monday and eventually found the trespassing suspect at another residence nearby.
Deputies picked up Joy Philley and found two syringes filled with what they believe was meth. Her case took a different twist when they found more drugs on her body as she was being booked into jail. That discovery led to a charge of Introduction of a Controlled Substance into a Correctional Facility.
