Retiring State Representative Honored by Lowndes Supervisors

Tyrone Ellis Honored in Lowndes CO

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Former state Representative Tyrone Ellis was honored with a proclamation from the Lowndes County Board of Supervisors.

During Monday’s meeting, the retiring state Representative was given a plaque and recognition, for serving as District 38’s representative for 38 years.

Other legislators and city leaders were there to pay their respects, and to speak on Ellis’ behalf.
