Video: Woman facing kidnapping charge after police find man tied up

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- A Columbus woman is facing a kidnapping and armed robbery charge after police find a man tied up.

It happened in the 500 Block of 7th Street North. Police say they found the man at a neighbor’s home.

42 year old Christie Wooten was arrested Sunday after police say the victim told them she and another man came into his home, tied him up, assaulted him and robbed him.

Police say the man’s hands were tied behind his back a electrical tape.

Wooten was denied bail pending a hold with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
