But some stores have been surprised by the plans.

“The barriers are not continuous, so there are places you can still turn left. Some businesses you can’t turn left into, but it looks like, based on what they’ve done so far with phase one, most businesses really aren’t going to have any seriously impeded traffic. That’s promising, we’re hopeful. We just hope they don’t block traffic into our business,” said partner for Backstage Music, Allen McBroom.

Works is expected to be complete by November.
