Investigation Still Underway in Fatal Booneville Crash

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE)- State Troopers are still investigating a fatality in Union County that claimed the life of a Booneville resident.

Troopers responded to MS 30E, near County Road 171, at approximately 7:00a.m. on Thursday. Upon arriving it appeared Nathan B Gray, 23, of Booneville, was traveling west bound, in a 2012 Ford Focus, when his vehicle apparently collided with an east bound, 2015 Peterbilt (tractor/trailer), operated by Timmy Cole, 54, of New Albany.

Gray received fatal injuries in the crash and died on the crash scene.

Cole was not injured in the crash.
