First Day of Fall but it Feels Like Summer

TONIGHT: A few showers or storms may develop this evening and could plague a football game or two. These showers or storms could develop anywhere, so just keep an eye to the sky if you have any outdoor plans this evening. It will be another warm and muggy evening as temperatures likely stay around 70 degrees.

WEEKEND: It will remain quite warm through the weekend which will make it feel like we’re stuck in July. Highs will remain around 90°. A few areas could see a stray shower or two but most everyone will remain hot and dry.

NEXT WEEK: Highs remain in the upper 80s to low 90s. We’ll keep the chance for a few isolated pop-up showers and storms during the afternoon heating, but each day most will stay dry as chances are low at best.

BEYOND 7 DAYS: A cold front looks to push through at the end of next week which will likely bring some more rain and will bring temperatures back to or below normal. That will take us into the beginning of October and it may finally feel like fall. How much cooler it will be and how long it will last is still to be determined, but stay tuned for the latest.
