Oxford Bond Referendum Vote

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- The Oxford School District now has an answer on whether a $38 million dollar bond was passed. And that answer is yes.

Grabbing 83 percent of the vote, the school district now looks forward to building a new elementary school and making renovations on other campuses.

The school district cited growing enrollment as the key factor in the need for this referendum.

Superintendent Brian Harvey thanked the community and all those who helped with the campaign.
