VIDEO: The Race Is On For District 38 House Of Representative Seat

STARKVILLE, Miss.(WCBI)-District 38 voters have the chance to hear from candidates running for a special election.

The election is for the Mississippi House of Representatives District 38 seat.

The forum will allow voters to get to know the  candidates and ask them questions.

Three candidates are running in the special election in hopes to replace former long time Representative Tyrone Ellis.

The hopefuls include; Narrissa Dawn Bradford, Cheikh A. Taylor, and former Starkville alderwoman, Lisa Wynn.

Every running candidate lives in Starkville.

They all have been certified by the State Board of Election Commissioners.

The special election takes place on November 7th.
