West Point Beating Case Moves Forward
WEST POINT (WCBI) -Sentencing is set for Friday for a second man charged in a 2014 attack at a West Point restaurant. 26 year old Kent Davis of Okolona pleaded guilty Monday to an aggravated assault charge in connection with the August 2014 attack on Ralph Weems of West Point.

Weems and a group of his friends exchanged words outside of one restaurant and then the two groups once again crossed paths at the Huddle House. That’s when Davis and two others attacked Weems leaving him in a coma .
Marquavious McMillan, also charged in the case was sentenced to 8 years with 6 suspended, 2 to serve and 5 years on Post Release Supervision.
