Winston County 10th Annual Health Fair

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Keeping the community healthy is the theme for the Winston Medical Center .

The Center hosted it’s 10th annual health fair Tuesday morning, October 10.

The event included 40 vendors, consisting of multiple health care professionals from within a hundred mile radius.

Guests received free health screenings, lunch and information.

Organizer and Marketing Director Brandi Krajewski says it’s important to offer this service to the community because for many it’s their only chance to see a health care provider.

“We want our community to know the services we provide and what is here for them right here at home. It’s important because a lot of times people don’t go to see their doctors on a normal basis. Sometimes they will come here, we offer lab services and something may, red flag that’s not correct they may need to see a physician,” said Krajewski.

The Flu shot was also offered, during Tuesday’s health fair.
