UPDATE – Victim Of Verona Fatal Shooting Named

VERONA (WCBI) – A 17 year old is dead and a shooter on the run following a Thursday afternoon shooting in Verona.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says 17 year old Lorenzo Wright, Jr. died in the incident.  Verona Police Chief J.B. Long says his department is looking for the driver of a white Nissan Altima which fled the scene moments after the shooting.  Long is expected to provide more details on the case Friday afternoon.
