Two Heavily Traveled Bridges Shut Down for Repairs

LEE CO, Miss (WCBI)- Two bridges in the Golden Triangle are closed.

In Lee County, District Five Supervisor, Billy Holland, says the Town Creek Bridge on Brewer Road, West of Highway 6, will be closed to all thru traffic. The bridge will be shut down for 30 days.

In Oktibbeha County, the bridge on Hickory Grove Road, North of Blackjack, and South of Highway 182, will be closed for repairs. According to the Oktibbeha County EMA’s Facebook page, the Federal Highway Administration will be working on the bridge for six weeks.
