Directing A Youth To Commit A Felony Arrest

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County woman is accused of getting a 14 year-old to buy her drugs.

24 year-old Ashley Hollingsworth is charged with directing a youth to commit a felony.

Lowndes County investigators say the teen’s parents found text messages on the child’s phone, asking him to buy the drugs.

Deputies seized the phone and made the arrest.

The teen and Hollingsworth were neighbors.

Her bond was set at $1,000.
