Police Chase Assault Suspect

COLUMBUS, Miss, (WCBI) – A man escapes serious injury after being cut in the neck this afternoon in east Columbus.

The suspect was eventually arrested after a brief chase at the Burger King on Highway 182.

Investigators say the incident actually happened on North McCrary Road.

Police say the victim only received a scratch.

The unidentified suspect is expected to be charged with Simple Domestic Assault.
