Molestation Sentencing

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man will complete one prison sentence and begin a second one for molesting a child.

Raymond Matthew Karr will serve 22 years in prison.

Seven of those years are for violating the terms of his previous conviction.

In November 2016, Karr was charged with four counts of molesting-touching a child for lustful purposes.

He had only been out of jail three months when those charges were filed.

Two of them were retired and he was sentenced on the other two.

In that case, the victim was under the age of 14.
