UPDATE: 1 School Closes, 2 Schools Announce Late Start Friday

ALABAMA, (WCBI)- Pickens County School Superintendent, Jamie Chapman says there will be a delay to the start of school Friday.

Classes will resume two hours later than scheduled.

Superintendent Chapman says the possible winter weather is the reason for the late start.

The EMCC Scooba Campus will also be opening late.

Classes will start at 10 a.m. Friday.

The Noxubee County school district is closed for the day.
