Columbus Police Chase

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop turns into a short pursuit and ends with a crash in north Columbus.

Lowndes County Narcotics officers were attempting to make a stop on Waterworks Road when the driver refused to stop.

Chief Deputy Marc Miley the suspect crashed into a parked car and a fence on Byrnes Circle.

No one was injured in the short pursuit.

One person was arrested but deputies are not releasing their name.
