Woman Dead Following Stabbing

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A Tupelo woman is found dead following an early morning stabbing today, December 18.

21-year-old Shaprecious Tucker, was arrested by Chickasaw County Deputies later, and is now being charged with Manslaughter.

Tupelo Police officers arrived at the 900 block of McNeece Street around 1:15 this morning.

The victim was found at the scene and transported to NMMC where she later died.

Investigators say the case is still unfolding and that photos will be released once Tucker’s arraignment is complete.
