Trafficking Suspect Captured
CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The suspect in a statewide drug investigation has been captured.
At 1:30 today, December 18, Marcus Starks turned himself in to the Clay County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities had seized more than $10,000 worth of meth from his residence.
Officers attempted to arrest 36-year-old Starks during the search on December 14.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics seized around 106 grams of methamphetamine from his Clay County home.
Starks faces charges of Sale and Trafficking of Meth as well as Possession of Marijuana and felony fleeing charges.
According to MBN Director John Dowdy, Starks was the subject of an 18 month drug investigation.
