Drug and Weapons Arrests

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop and search warrant leads to drug and weapon arrests by the Webster County Sheriff’s Department.

The two men arrested were Donald Fason and Larry Fason.

Both men are charged with multiple counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.

Donald Fason is charged with Possession of Meth.

Both men remain in jail at the sheriff’s department.

“The driver was taken in to custody there, from that point, we did an interview with the driver, developed some more information with it, and we used that information to obtain a search warrant for a house on Fame Church Road,” says Webster County Investigator Landon Griffin.

That’s where several firearms were recovered inside the home.

Deputies are not sure if the weapons belong to the men or if they were stolen.

Deputies also found several chainsaws and believe they could be stolen.

The sheriff’s department says if you’ve reported a stolen chainsaw to come by the office or give them a call
