Winston Medical To Lease MRI Machine

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – MRI services will soon roll in to Winston County.

The Mississippi State Department of Health announced Thursday, the Certificate of Need was approved for the project

MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging services will allow physicians to better diagnose tumors, broken bones, and other conditions.

In the agreement, Winston Medical Center will lease a mobile MRI unit two days a week.

The total proposed cost of the project is just under $45,000.
