Several Alabama Towns Awarded Grant Money

ALABAMA, (WCBI)- 26 cities, towns and counties in Alabama will be getting spruced up, after Governor Kay Ivey announces $6.3 million in Community Development Block Grants.

Here in our region, the Lamar County Commission will be getting $222,000 for water extension.

In Pickens County, the Volunteer Fire Department is awarded $206,272 for a fire truck.
