Shooting Victim Identified In Pontotoc County Investigation

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The victim of a Pontotoc County shooting has been identified.

On Tuesday, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation was called to work the scene near Highways 278 and 15.

Few details are being released, but the victim has been identified as 20-year-old Jody Devon Lewis of Abbeville.

Upon last check, Lewis was still alive.

Sources tell us, the investigation started after deputies received a report of a crash.
