Local Delta Sigma Theta Chapter Brings The Community Together

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus Lowndes Country Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated has partnered with the community to bring businesses together.

Saturday the Omicron Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta teamed up with the graduate chapter to hold their biannual Black Business expo.

The event helps promote black owned businesses in the community.

It also allows for businesses to build their networks and gain new clientele.

Sabrina Brandon, the chapter president, says the showcase is intended to connect the community.

“This is an opportunity for us to highlight the black businesses within the community and others to become more aware of the existence here in the community,” said Brandon.

The event also encouraged voter registration and involvement with the NAACP.
