Doug Stone Wins And Gets Sworn In As Newly Elected Aberdeen Ward 2 Alderman

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI)- On Tuesday, Ward 2 voters in Aberdeen were back at the polls to decide who will take that seat on the Board of Aldermen.

Former Alderwoman Lady Garth and Doug Stone came out on top after the first round.

However, after Tuesday’s runoff, Stone will now represent Ward 2 for the remainder of former Alderman Cloyd Garth Jr. term.

Stone finished with 226 votes while Garth got 220.

After the results were announced, Stone was officially sworn in as the Ward 2 Alderman.
