A man is being charged with one count of burglary of a vehicle in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – One man is now being charged after a burglary incident that happened over a month ago in Tupelo.

On Friday, May 8, Tupelo police responded to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on South Gloster Street for a reported burglary.

The victim told officers that the suspect allegedly stole their purse from the vehicle in the parking lot before running away towards Carnation Street.

Through the investigation process, police were able to arrest Zyquan Holleman on Monday.

He is being charged with one count of burglary of a vehicle.

Holleman was given a $50,000 bond.

These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
