A traffic stop leads to a drug arrest for a Lee County man

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – On Friday, August 21, Lee County deputies made a traffic stop in the Auburn area.

During that stop, they identified the driver as James A. Davis.

They discovered Davis was wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

During the investigation, they reportedly found he was also in possession of methamphetamine.

Davis was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance — Methamphetamine.

He is in the Lee County Jail on a $12,000 bond.
