Aberdeen’s 43rd Annual Spring Pilgrimage

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Though the rain moved over the area today it didn’t stop folks from getting out and celebrating Aberdeen’s annual Spring Pilgrimage.

This year marks 43 years of; garden lunches, antebellum homes tours, and carriage rides for visitors from all over the world.

There are 10 homes on this year’s tour.

Aberdeen Visitors Bureau Director Tina Robbins says none of which would be possible without all hands on deck!

“We have such wonderful volunteers. We have some that grew up here and some that have moved here and are learning the stories and the homeowners are happy to have the helpers in the different rooms giving the explanations. They’re willing to help it’s very exciting and fun,” says Robbins.

Festivities will conclude Sunday afternoon.
