Absentee voting deadline approaching

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI)- You have one final day to vote absentee in the upcoming runoff election.

Circuit clerk offices across the state will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann says more than 21,000 absentee ballots have been requested.

Democrat Mike Espy and Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith are facing off for a U.S. Senate seat.

There are also runoffs a number of judicial posts in our area as well.
