Alabama Announces Early Signing Day Student-Athletes

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WCBI/Alabama Athletics)– The University of Alabama announced that 15 student-athletes have signed letters of intent to play football with the Crimson Tide on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday.

The 15 total players includes one junior college signee and come from 10 states – Florida (5), South Carolina (2), Alabama (1), California (1), Indiana (1), Louisiana (1), Maryland (1), Pennsylvania (1), Tennessee (1) and Utah (1).

As of 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Alabama’s 2018 signing class was ranked No. 5 nationally by 247Sports and No. 6 by ESPN and Rivals.

As listed by position, the Crimson Tide add to its roster four linebackers, three defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two offensive linemen, one punter, one running back, one wide receiver and one athlete.
