Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- The Christmas season officially arrives in Columbus.

The city’s annual Christmas tree lighting took place Monday night.

Dozens came out to watch the super-size tree light up.

Once the countdown was complete, cheers rang as Mayor Robert Smith turned the lights on.

Christmas carols, pictures, and visits with Mr. And Mrs. Clause completed the night.
