Another arrest made in shooting that killed rap duo’s stepfather

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police made another arrest in a deadly shooting that is connected to a rap duo.

Travis Harris, 20, was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Tupelo police said Harris was arrested two weeks ago but just released the information Friday.

Investigators did not release what role Harris was accused of in the homicide of Floyd Sullivan on January 6.

Michael Sullivan, 19, was charged with murder.

He’s the son of the 62-year-old victim.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Lumpkin Avenue.

Michael Sullivan was admitted to a psychiatric facility before being charged.

Floyd Sullivan is the stepfather of rappers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, the duo is better known as Rae Sremmurd.

Harris is being held without bond.
