Another FEMA Fraud Arrest In Winston County

LOUISVILLE (WCBI) – It’s approaching 3 years since the Louisville tornado but some are still being accused of swindling the federal government.

36 year old Demeterice McMillan is the latest to be charged with disaster fraud. McMillan is accused of claiming she lived in a Beal Avenue apartment complex which was destroyed by the tornado. The federal indictment accused McMillan of lying about the apartment complex being her primary home when she actually lived somewhere else. She is the fourth person to be indicted for claiming the same complex as their home.
