Argument between brothers leads to arrest, ER trip

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A Christmas Day argument between two brothers landed one in jail and the other on a trip to the emergency room.

46-year-old James Lofton was charged with aggravated assault.

West Point Police Chief Avery Cook said two shots were fired during the argument.

A bullet grazed the head of the victim. He was treated and released from the hospital the same day.

Bond for Lofton had not been set.
