Armed Robbery Arrest

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man reportedly puts a gun to a 14-year-old’s head, demanding money.

19-year-old Lawrence Fredrick Tate was arrested yesterday, December 21, in connection to an armed robbery at the Yorkville Apartments in Columbus.

According to Lowndes County Sheriff Marc Miley, the suspect made away with a small amount of cash, running out the back door of the residence.

The Juvenile later identified Tate, leading to his arrest.

Tate is charged with Armed Robbery, and bond has yet to be set.
