Artesia triple homicide suspect indicted on capital murder charge

ARTESIA, Miss. (WCBI) – A man accused of killing three people in Artesia was indicted on a capital murder charge.

Lowndes County jurors indicted Clark Allen Jr.

The deadly shooting happened January 15, 2019, on Mobile Lane. Allen was taken into custody shortly afterwards.

Demario Snell, Mauricio Nance, and Tyshun Fields all died at the scene of the shooting.

Investigators said drugs were a factor in the shooting. Law enforcement combed the property for days, searching for evidence.

Deputies never released a motive in the homicide.
