Back to School MUW Send Off

COLUMBUS, Miss.(WCBI)—Incoming W freshmen students were officially welcomed on Sunday.          M-U-W’s office of admission, along with the alumni association , and the university’s president held a meet and greet for members of the freshmen class.

the event was held at the presidents house on college street…W officials say its just part of the intimate experience students can expect while attending the Mississippi university for women.

Shelly Moss the Director of Admission says,”At the w we are all about the personal touch and connection so we think this is gonna be helpful they are gonna be meeting people they will be in class with day in and day out and also meet some alum who have had that experience and are proud of the institution.”
