Best weather day comes mid-week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Nice conditions will be continuing through Wednesday, then some changes will be on the way. The next system will be bringing in rain for the end of the week and into the weekend.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Sub-freezing temperatures once again! It is going to be COLD! Make sure to protect your pets, plants, and pipes tonight. Overnight low temperatures will be dropping into the middle to upper 20s. Making it the coldest night of the week!

WEDNESDAY: Middle of the week will have the nicest conditions of the week.  High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. The sky will continue to be mostly clear, thanks to the lingering High pressure system. Low temperatures are still going to be quite colder however, warmer by a few degrees. Low temperatures Wednesday night look to stay above freezing, though remaining close.

END OF THE WEEK: Cloud coverage will be heavy and continuously filling. Temperatures Thursday will be in the upper 50s. The rain chance will be increasing throughout the day, especially overnight. Rain showers will continue throughout the night Thursday and into Friday morning. Friday will be the warmest day of the week, pushing towards the lower 70s. The rain chance will lighten once the front passes through NE MS.
