Bobby Hall Takes Over In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WCBI) — Amory-native and Hall of Fame high school football coach Bobby Hall has been hired as head football coach and athletic director at Philadelphia high school.

Hall spent the past three seasons at Biloxi.

The four-time state championship-winning head coach will take over a Tornadoes team that went 12-2 a season ago, losing the Calhoun City in the South State semifinals.

“Philadelphia is a place, you have football towns in Mississippi, and football schools, and Philadelphia is one of those schools,” Hall said.

“I had a great career coaching at a place called Amory high school and I consider Philadelphia another Amory high school.”
