Body found on Natchez Trace identified as missing woman

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A body found on the Natchez Trace early Wednesday morning was identified as a missing Tupelo woman.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the body found as Glenda Spivey. Spivey had been missing since last Wednesday.

The body was found off the Trace, about a mile from Tupelo High School and Highway 6.

An autopsy will be done at the State Crime Lab in Pearl.
